Somewhere along the way I decided every hobby needed to become a side hustle. This year I picked painting back up purely because it’s fun — badly, messily, with zero intention of ever selling a single piece.
It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made all year, and a good reminder that not everything has to be productive to be worth doing.
